The engineer fraudulently debited my account with 200rs and since my account went in minus balance, they disconnected our service when it’s not our fault. Had booked a engineer visit as our service wasn’t working for a week by speaking to a customer service rep. After speaking for maybe 5 min, the rep advised me of engineer visit and explained about the visit charge of 200rs along with any additional charges after checking the device. I agreed on it but after sometime the service resumed and did not say, no signal anymore hence tried to cancel the engineer visit by calling the customer customer service rep but they asked me to call with my registered number and after calling with registered number it was an automated line and only gives the complaint number and call gets disconnected. Called the customer service number and tried to cancel through them but they did not agree as I was not calling from my registered number, tried to make them understand that it doesn’t allow us to cancel the visit but it was of no help. I gave up on it and ended the call. After some time I got a call from Videocon stating they will help me to cancel the service even though it’s not my registered number that they had called. I asked him whether this is possible coz all the customer service rep I had spoken to, including the senior rep did not agree on it. Anyways he sent a delight code and asked for it. I gave the code and he said that he has cancelled the visit over the phone. All of a sudden, after a day or so, all the channels disappeared and when I called the customer service number, that’s when I was told that our service has been disconnected. I asked who disconnected it and the reply was, your account balance is in minus hence it was disconnected. The engineer had debited our account with 150 rs -200rs without even telling me about it. He did it fraudulently and bluffed me, saying he is cancelling the engineer visit. The senior rep confirmed that the engineer debited the account with 150rs-200rs due to which the service was disconnected, he should not have done that as the delight code should be taken by engineer only when he visits our house, which he did not and asked it over the phone from some god damn place, this proves they are practicing fraud and bluff customers without telling them the truth. All the rep and senior rep are worse. They disconnected the call thrice hen I called including the senior rep because they cannot answer my questions. I asked them what is the use of taking complaints and giving assurance that within so and so time , the issue will get resolved. I had been assured by 12/27/2018 the issue will get resolved but when asked why it was not resolved on 12/28/2018, that don’t have an answer for that. Instead they are giving me jazz and trying to take another complaint. They do not listen to what customers say and just keep on interrupting and when they don’t have an answer they just say, I will transfer to my senior rep for more information. They do not have simple telephone etiquette, how to handle a call. They should not be working for a call centre instead should work for tabela and should be selling things like a hawker because they do not know how to speak to a customer. They keep on interrupting and when they have no answer, they disconnect the call. One of the rep was yelling at me. Is this how you give customer service. All the customer service rep that I have spoken to, all of them are worse. The worse thing is, there is no resolution for the issue but only complaints as they only keep on taking complaints. This is the worst customer service I have ever come through. They cannot provide the name of the previous rep whom I had called a minute before. All of he rep below senior level are good for nothing as they only try to transfer the call , if they are not able to answer a question. The senior rep is also same, the only difference is they give a bit more jazz and take down complaints which is useless, and they disconnect the call too. All of them are liars, they disconnect the call and say they did not. This company is fraud, instead of growing their business outside India they should focus more on their customer service others it’s of no use. When there are no customers then go and clean toilets, you will earn better. The rep should not have raised her voice and yelled at me. If you all can’t keep people who can speak properly, should not hire people who are third class and not know how to speak on calls. They are not fit to be in a customer service background.
