On the evening of 18th October 2017 I visited DLF Mall of India, Sector 18, Noida with my family for shopping and parked my car in the basement of mall's parking lot. On my way out I realized I had lost the parking ticket of Rs. 50/- which I had collected at the entry point. I was asked to pay Rs. 300/- as penalty charges by the parking attendant for the lost ticket. This kind of penalty is highly irrational as it amounts to paying five times more than the parking charges.
You are requested to take up the matter with the mall management and ask them to stop the practice of collecting such high penalty charges from the customers in case they have lost the parking ticket.
