Selling expired and bad products, purchased AMUL curd from Reliance Smart store

Dear sir/Madam,
I want to bring to your notice a case of an oversight relating to perishable food item passed their shelf life sold openly in an upscale Retail store like Reliance.
I purchased AMUL curd from Reliance Smart store (Mumbai central) on 27th Jan 17.
The product has a packaging date of 12-Jan-2017. The product has a warning displayed that the product is good for 15 days from the date of packaging.
This means when i was sold the product on 27-Jan-2017 the product has already passed it's best-by date. Evidence of which is posted in the pictures below where mould had started to develop on the product.
Please note, I had paid a full price for the product and there was no display on the shelf that the product has passed it's shelf life date.
I would like to highlight that my neice who is 7 years old was about to consume the curd when I noticed the mould which had developed on the curd. Had it not been for me, she might have had consumed the curd and the whole family would have faced the consequences of this oversight on part of Reliance store.
Do note, just a day ahead on 26-Jan Reliance store had a big republic day sale. This means that a number of consumers were exposed to a product which was on the end of its shelf life.
I urge you to investigate into this matter with utmost seriousness too avoid innocent lives being threatened by a seemingly small oversight.
I will be writing about this matter to the Department of Food and Distribution to bring this matter to their notice.
