Dear Sir
I Mr. Rocky Robinson residing at Flat No 2 Bharat Garden Rose garden society, behind park hotel staying for last 3 year , as a customer of MSEB and the tenant of this house , I am having few grievances pertaining to the Electricity issue which is increasing monthly, I have been receiving the electricity bill on an average of Rs 300 to 400 monthly but from Jan 2018 there was a huge increase in the bill with an amount of Rs 2500/- , immediately a complaint has been logged with MSEB , after enquiring the official have told me that anyhow this bill need to be cleared and in the following month the billing will be streamlined, again after a month I have received a bill with an amt of Rs 5700, again a complaint has been logged and the same replied received stating to pay the bill and thereafter it there won’t be any excess charges in the electricity bill , this bill was paid by my landlord, this increase in bill has become a routine practice and every month we see a huge amt in the bill, we have personally contacted the MSEB office and it was told that the electricity meter had become faulty and the same need to be replaced with the new one, on every received bill we visit the MSEB office for enquiry and the official Mr. Jagtap and Dhumal they signed the complaint copy and tell us do not visit the office each and every time whenever we receive the new meter will replace the same. Since we are unable to get any solution we have visited the Hadapsar division and met Mr. Vairagakar and he also said the same to meet Mr. Dhumal and Jagtap in replacing the meter but until now the situation remains unchanged, we also logged a online complaint via MSEB IVR and the complaint no is 000008912381 , to this complaint no we again visited the MSEB official Mr. Dhumal and on to this Mr. Dhumal had bluntly replied by asking us to pay Rs 5000 and every after 2 month pay 1000 and then only will get the new Meter.
Could we know is this the process or a solution from the Govt point of view to rectify an issue where officials are not supporting and asking us to pay the complete amount of bill whereas we have never consumed these many units, we can understand for a month but this cannot be on and on for each and every months, also to get a meter is this the way the officials they deal with the customer of MSEB asking us to pay 5000 and thereafter to pay 1000 after 2 months. We need a proper justification as well as to know who can simplify such issues of Indian citizen, If we are unable to receive the resolution to this issue we will raise the same copy to the ministry level and resolve the same.
Thanking you

High electricity bill of my flat no N-1504, Eviva, Palava , Dombivali by Virendra B Singh:
(5 of 5)
I have lodged complaint with PCMA and MSEDCL regarding the very high electricity bill for consumer no 022447154041 either due to cross connection or faulty meter, but it was not resolved in time and high bill amount was sent in month of Jan / Feb 2021 and continued even after my request to resolve it.Sent email dated 24th March 21to MSEDCL/PCMA through smart.meter@pcma.in . Then month wise statement provided on 7 Sept 2021 which id showing cross connection with some flat.
I have raised many complaint vide complaint no.0000019506577 in March 2021 and complaint no.0000020907837 on 15 July 2021 to different department of MSEDCL through website mahadiscom.in and email address smartmeter@pcma.in, escalations@pcma.in 311.servics@pcma.in, utililty@pcma.in etc . But no action was taken till now and it resulted in huge amount of electricity bill due to cross connection with some flat .
Finally, hard copy of complaint was lodged on 24.08.2021 through courier service vide consignment no M05606318 and by postal speed post it'svide acknowledgement no. EMB11222155IN on 25.08.2021 with copy to PCMA and Eviva Society to solve the case. Then month wise break up was provided by MSEDCL and PCMA after lot of request and persuasion. The statement indicate and confirm the cross connection with Flat no N-1602.
How I can be made responsible to pay the bill and suffer due to disconnection for non payment of any extra amount for electricity dues. Monthly bill indicates the average bill of above Rs 6000/- with units above 600 per month which is not possible for household electricity with very common appliance in Eviva Palava. I have observed that normal reading comes in range of 100-200 units and maximum 300 units in Eviva society in general. Then how it comes above 500-600units in my flat N-1504? I have noted down the daily average of my flat and compared with others. What is reasons of such a difference of 3-4 times higher in my flat than others ?
Meter was changed in month of Jan/Feb 21. But again it is showing abnormal consumption due to existing cross connection. Authenticity of new meter with old meter have not been checked by putting both of them in parallel and recording reading of both in my presence, but it has not been done. What for the meter was changed when the cross connection with flat no 1602 was not rectified and removed? Daily average reading of Flat 1602 is maximum 3 units (which is below normal) whereas for my flat it is more than 10 units (above normal).
I have high hope for solution of problem when the reason for abnormal bill has been already known to it.
requested many times to look into my earlier requests and reminders, pending since long time on the above subject for removing the cross connection with Flat no N-1602 and adjusting the high electricity bill of my flat or wave off the excess charge with kind and sympathetic consideration. But no action is taken for removal of cross connection.

Dear Sir
I Mr. Abhishek Prajapati residing at Room No 374 Subhash Nagar, Near Sulzer Pump Company, MIDC Road Digha, Airoli, Navi Mumbai-400708, As a customer of MSEB and My father is owner of this house, I am having few grievances pertaining to the Electricity issue which is increasing monthly, I have been receiving the electricity bill on an average of Rs 300 to 400 monthly but from sep 2022 there was a huge increase in the bill with an amount of Rs 96610/- , immediately a complaint has been logged with MSEB, after inquiring the officials have told me that anyhow this bill need to be cleared and in the following month the billing will be streamlined....we couldn't pay because the bill was too high. again after a month I have received a bill with an amt of Rs 128270, again a complaint has been logged and the same replied received stating to pay the bill and thereafter it there won’t be any excess charges in the electricity bill.
My dad has personally contacted the MSEB office and it was told that the electricity meter had become faulty and the same need to be replaced with the new one, on every received bill we visit the MSEB office for enquiry and the official Mr. Rahul Mogale they signed the complaint copy and then he has replaced the meter but until now the situation remains unchanged, Since we are unable to get any solution we have visited the Hadapsar division and met with Jr. engineer and he is also said the same to meet Mr. Rahul Mogale only and tell them to make new report of faulty meter and has to update in the system, Then only you'll receive new bill with proper units.
It's been 6-7 months without electricity at my house because we were unable to pay the bill as the bill was high and Mr. Mogale he has disconnected the meter connection...and took the meter away.
My father goes to Mahavitaran's office daily but there is no hearing.
Could we know is this the process or a solution from the Govt point of view to rectify an issue where officials are not supporting and asking us to pay the complete amount of bill whereas we have never consumed these many units, we can understand for a month but this cannot be on and on for each and every months, We need a proper justification as well as to know who can simplify such issues of Indian citizen, If we are unable to receive the resolution to this issue we will raise the same copy to the ministry level and resolve the same.
