Compound Late payment charges in this Pandemic situation

I am really disappointed with the ICICI bank credit card late payment fees in this Pandemic situation and that too delayed ONLY BY 6 days.
I got reply from ICICI bank support team that my only 6 days late payment charges would not be waived and we cant help on that with your reversal.
Disappointed part is that, this is compound interest, recurring every month which reached more than Rs.2000 and even they are not ready to support in this Pandemic situation where world is helping each other what does bank do ?
