I Bought Airtel Home Connection no 8527007649 from Airtel with a attractive offer of "no hassles 3 Months Advance 30GB per month". This all in Rs.6000/- advance payment cash. Within few days of getting connection, my services were barred for non-payment, surprised, on calling call center I was provided with the fact that I have not made payment of service tax. Services were resumed only after paying Rs.867 towards service tax, inspite the fact that the package was sold with a tag of "all inclusive". Then again after 2 months services are barred again, and came to know that I have consumed data over and above 30GB. and for this Rs. 430 is due ( 215/month) for the data consumed after 30GB, which I have to pay to get the services resumed. So my neutral queries were 1) Why service tax was not mentioned and taken along with the advance. 2) If you are charging for overuse then why are you barring the services or If you are barring then why are you charging. 3) I paid 3 months advance, so as I have not to go into hassles of monthly payments and why no intimation before barring services. 4) its better whatever is your supplementary amount , if any, add them into 1st bill generated after expiry of the initial offer. 5) What about the time frame for which you are barring my services i.e. for 10 days in different interval, whereas I paid ADVANCE for 90 days all inclusive. 6) Its 5th July today, bill will be generated on 9th July, resume services and lets pay and settle this amount in that bill.
But Airtel with this "Deceptive offer and no services attitude", wanted this money then and there or they will not resume the services.
Request you to take action against airtel for trapping customers with lucrative offer and once services are bought narrating fineprints and forcing to pay extra money.
